The Spice Girls have released a new and unreleased alternative music video for the 25th anniversary of ‘Stop’.
Marking a quarter century since the release of the hit single from their second studio album. spice worldThe girl group has given fans a rare treat in the form of a never-before-seen video.
In the clip, our favorite quintet, consisting of Mel B, Mel C, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham, stand in the middle of a road performing the instantly recognizable ‘Stop’ choreography.

The alternate video appears to have been filmed at the same time and location as the original, which was filmed on Carnew Street in Dublin.
While the new video focuses solely on the Spice Girls dancing in the middle of the street, the original started with the girls knocking on doors and singing to the camera.
In the first video, the ladies engage in all sorts of antics with the local kids, including games of jump rope, hopscotch, hula hoop, cat’s cradle, and pat-a-cake while the town elders look on disapprovingly.

Speaking of the famous video, Mel B said that it was not planned and that the band was given freedom to do their own thing (via evening standard).
“There was no storyboard for this video, it was more trial and error,” revealed Mel B. “It was unplanned down to the last detail and it was quite rainy. It’s like everything we do: complete chaos. And we all want to put our grain of sand, so the director has to be able to encompass us”. everything, besides putting his ideas on top and making it all flow.”
It comes after the release of spiceworld25 last November they celebrated 25 years of the studio album.
